ポーランド国内でダニ刺咬に曝露するおそれが高まっている。
2023年，国内で659例のダニ媒介性脳炎 cases of tick-borne encephalitis が確認され，過去４年間に2倍以上に増加した。the Department of Infectious Diseases and Neuroinfections of the Medical University of Białystok の感染症の専門家は，気候温暖化が原因と述べている。気温の変化が1年を通じたダニの活動を可能にし，もはや森林にとどまらず都市部や芝生にも現れるようになった。
[Mod.TY－ _Ixodes ricinus_ is widely distributed across Europe and is the principal vector of TBE virus (地図)。

国内5例目の西部ウマ脳炎患者 The 5th case of [western] equine encephalitis が確認されたと、公衆衛生省の報告 the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) in its situation report で明らかになった。the San Jose department の54歳男性でウマとの関連が認められている。この男性は今も入院中であるが、これまでの4例は現在退院した。
The suspected cases（感染が疑われる症例）are: 4 in Canelones, one in Cerro Largo, 2 in Colonia, one in Durazno, 2 in Lavalleja, 7 in Montevideo, one in Río Negro, 2 in Rivera, one in Rocha, one in Salto, 2 in San José and one in Tacuarembó.
