9日朝までの24時間に新たに1例のデング熱による死亡One more death が報告され， 2024年のBangladesh 国内の死者数が 38 となった。この間に25例の入院患者が発生し，7 patients were hospitalised in Dhaka [capital] city, while the rest were outside the capital.。死亡したのは an area under the Dhaka South City Corporation の患者であった。
A total of 3056 dengue cases have been reported since 1 Jan 2024.

COVID-19 cases は先週 [week of 2 Jun 2024]，前週に比べ一気に900例以上増え，1日当たり1名の死亡が発生したと，the Public Relations Department's COVID-19 Information Centre が明らかにした。10日発表の報告によると，6月2-8日の間に2762人が入院した。1863例であった 26 May-1 Jun から48.3%増加した。
1月以降，2万3245 patients が COVID-19 のため入院し，137例の死亡が報告されている。Chulalongkorn University's Faculty of Medicine は SNS 上で the virus' spread peaking during this season との注意を呼びかけた。
一方で the Centre for Medical Genomics, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University は10日，新世代ワクチン the new generation of COVID-19 vaccine being developed using the KP.2 sub-variant as its base, namely the V1104L-type. が開発中であり，22.5% of American COVID-19 patients diagnosed with KP.2 に有効であったため同株が選択されたと説明した。
研究によると the KP.2 vaccine used the V1104L-type sub-variant mutation to help with its efficacy maximisation, which led to a quicker response at the antibody level. The KP.2-based vaccine is now awaiting approval from global organisations, including the World Health Organization (WHO), and is to be used as the main COVID-19 vaccine for the 2024-2025 season, said the centre.
On 5 Jun 2024, the Department of Disease Control (DDC) published the latest edition of the national COVID-19 diagnosis and treatment guidelines. The guidelines for antivirus drug prescriptions and suggestions for COVID-19 patients were amended in this edition.
