Southwestern Public Health, which covers Oxford County, Elgin County and the City of St. Thomas から、小児3例 cases of the highly contagious disease in children が報告されおり、ほか16 infections are with Grand Erie Public Health, which serves the City of Brantford, Brant County, Haldimand County and Norfolk County が報告されている。
In an update Friday [24 Jan 2025], officials said 13 children and 3 adults have measles.

A woman has died in Pune due to Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS), marking [the] second death in Maharashtra. The city has registered [the] highest number of cases of the outbreak with 127 people taken ill. The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has reserved 40 hospital beds, including 10 with ventilators, for treatment of GBS cases.
